Definitions and Conventions:

(1) b/a and Ellipticity:

b/a: The ratio of semi-minor to semi-major axes. Galworks reports this value

Ellipticity: ellip = 1-b/a. IRAF reports ellipticities.

(2) Position Angle:

GALWORKS convention: Measured counterclockwise from the right of the screen.

IRAF converntion: Measured counterclockwise from the top of the screen.
