From: Frank Masci Subject: 43969b vs 49266a Date: November 19, 2014 at 11:16:48 AM PST To: Tim Conrow , Roc Cutri Cc: Roc Cutri , Roc Cutri I’ve posted a few plots comparing the extractions from all framesets in 43969b to those in an overlapping scan taken ~6 months later (49266a): http://wise2.ipac.caltech.edu/proj/fmasci/neowiser_sensitivity/ W1 shows no significant difference. W2 however *could be* ~0.1mag deeper for the “colder” (June) scan, even after correcting for a possible ~0.015mag ZP difference. I think we can do without artid (unless Roc wants it). Now here’s another task (if you’re up to it): which other neowiser scan (from early June 2014 I presume) had maximal overlap with 43969b? You're looking for scans with frames that overlap elon=161.16, elat=0. The only one that shows up within 10' is 49277a, about 6' off. Thought there would be one or two more. Forgot to give enough room for elat variation of the frame center. Here's a list of frame centers with elat closest to zero landing within 30' of the 43969b median longitude. Looks like 49266a is pretty good. -- Tim On Nov 14, 2014, at 2:43 PM, Tim Conrow wrote: On Nov 14, 2014, at 121745, Tim Conrow wrote: On Nov 14, 2014, at 112709, Tim Conrow wrote: On Nov 13, 2014, at 133148, Frank Masci wrote: Hi Tim, I’ve created a new/special calibration window to handle 43969b: /wise/data2/fmasci/ical_bckup/ifr_ops/031414v7.5/43969b001-44211d015/ Feel feel to deploy this (probably just pops) and execute the v7.5 scan/frame pipeline (everything, including dynacal).
