The Explanatory Supplement to the AllWISE Data Release Products is a living document. It will be updated regularly to provide users with the most current descriptions and analyses of WISE data products. The most up-to-date version of the Supplement is always accessible as a hypertext document at:

This page documents, by date, changes to the Supplement since the initial publication on 2013 November 13.

• 2024 February 16 - Updated the descriptions of the w1snr, w2snr, w3snr, and w4snr columns in section II.1.a. Corrected the cases in which the values of these columns can be null.


• 2019 March 28 - Updated section V.2.b with description of the table that contains the Refined Single-exposure WCS Information Table, and links to NASA/IPAC Infrared Science Archive Catalog Query Engine that serves the table.


• 2017 June 8 - Updated Data Access section I.5 to include instructions for bulk download of the Multiepoch Photometry Database.


• 2013 November 18 - Added AllWISE Catalog source count sky maps to section II.1.c.


• 2013 November 13 - Explanatory Supplement initial publication
